Stitched and Constructed textile paintings
On closer inspection, the painterly appearance of the work transposes itself into an appliquéd textile work. What once resembled brush marks on the surface of a canvas evolves into a manipulated constructed textile.
Pages from fashion and interior magazines are enmeshed between layers, covered then cut through so that snippets of text is revealed. The pattern and typography adding abstract detail to the work.
